Im spamming e-mail

I get a report today from somebody I WAS going to buy a hosting from saying I have been spamming people through e-mail and have been reported many many times. I have never spammed. I do however send mail to my webmasters every now and than when I do some big update on the site. I also put on the e-mail like " you have received this mail because you are a EasyDialer member, click here to unsubscribe". The weird thing about this is that this guy wont tell me who I sent the "spam" to or what it sayed, what it was about.

Something like this has happend before but it turned out the guy was a member when he showed me the e-mail I sent.

So now this guy wants me to be sued. He says the ICANN (or whatever) will be in contact with me and my local police.

I hate fucking spammers so why would I do it? I want to see the message and who I sent it to but he wont tell me anything.

All I have to say is show me some fucking proof

ICANN controls the regisrty of domains and such for the World. They do NOT get involved in spamming etc. So tell him to blow it out his, uhhh ear. They could care less. They ONLY get involved if there is a SERIOUS rift with a registrar and someone. Pulling their teeth would be easier to do then to get them to notice you. lol

I should clarify that some... they accredit the dot whatevers and decide WHO can be registrars. Thats why dot sex etc fell thru. ICANN never accredited dot sex. ;-)

ICANN will **NOT** call you NOR email you over this. They have no authority for one thing. lol If they were involving themselves in spamming... they would deal with your host company, not you.

But I repeat, tell the guy he's full of sh*t. ICANN does NOT and has NEVER dealt with spamming problems in this way. lmao

Tell the guy he is making charges against you and you WILL hold him accountable for libel if he does NOT allow you the information he is charging you with. IE: his email account. He's doing what they call enabling under the law by hiding his identity so as to get emails from you and then chaarging you with a so called crime. I believe it falls under the unjust enrichment clasue in a court but I'm not positive and I'm not calling our attorney and bothering her. lol

Tell him to stuff it and whine to whomever he wants. ONE complaint doesn't mean squat in any case.

Return addresses and even headers can totally be fucked with. I get spam adressed FROM me or even from my ISP, which is really stupid, because I hand it over to their abuse department. THEY don't want spam going out with them as the return address and they actually know how to deal with it.

funny how so many whiners actually opted in and cry spam...

I know I signed for that damn group lotto thing once and wow, my mailbox is indeed full....but, hey, I opted in...instead of whining, I just simply hit delete, requires no real time or effort....in fact I can delete 10 spams in the time it takes me to open the email, scroll down and click the unsubscribe link....

as for his threats, if he has mentioned that to anyone else, he can, as mentioned above, be held for libel...
they way my attorney put it to me for my TOS, I can't say "if you fuck us, we'll sue" but I can say "extreme cases may be subject to punishment to the fullest extent of the law"
