What the heck is wrong with my Java script?

Sorry to post a stupid question here, but JavaScript doesnt suddenly work AT ALL in any of my browsers.
Netscape, IE

Of course the settings in the browsers themselves are ok.

Is this some kind of fucking virus?

Now either make a fool of me or clue me in here..

Not an Java script expert, but:
If you have a page on which your script works copy it LINE BY LINE to the new page (in Notepad or whatever you are using) - e.g.

!--

whatever whatever whatever
whateverwhatever whatever


NOT

!-- whatever whatever whatever whateverwhatever whatever

This is what usually fucks up my scripts, but yet again I am not an expert...

Thanks Antonio for trying to help but the problem is not on the pages or sites but my browser.

No matter what site I go to, if it has JavaScript in it, it doesnt work, because my browsers are fucked up.

I think it was after Zone Alarm installation when the problems started..
