I recently felt into the mood of building an {{old}} computer system, preferably a 4-way Pentium Pro. I found a place that sells the 512KB PPro 200Mhz for $17, I found an appropriate motherboard on ebay for cheap here but now I need an appropriate case for it (and 72 pin DIMMs)

I wanna keep it as low budget as possible. I have a dual PIII 1Ghz 1GB RAM as my main computer but I wanna build a linux-only box that's gonna work as a router/firewall/SETI machine

Since PII XEONs / PPros are cheap as shit, I can buy tons of em for an apple and an egg. Fuck cobalts !

Bro, you'd be better off finding a machine that works woth DIMMs as those 72 sticks are hard to find and prolly not as cheap as you think. Shit, a K62-500 machine would work wonders for what you wanna do and prolly run a couple hundred bucks or so.
