Have you tried it ? The new plan is supposed to be ad free.

I wonder if its still slow and unreliable like the old web1000

You never seem to tire of asking questions of this nature Dark Jedi...

We are an Ad Free, Free Host...as in it costs you nothing and we don't put any ads on your sites...

Or think of it this way...Instead of asking you for money in exchange for not putting ads on your site...we don't ask for money and still don't put ads on your site..

Ok...lastly, I have one more scenario for you...if you came to me and said...I'd like some hosting that I don't have to pay for and that doesn't have any ads...I'd say I'm positive web1000.com could do that for you.

Are you still gawking in disbelief since this thread...

        http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...threadid=52173

If its something you just can't understand, heck try it out...if it doesn't work for you at least you won't have to post redundant threads anymore. I'm not trying to be an asshole here...it just seems like if you have such curiousity...there may be one way to satisfy it.

            NOTHING IS FREE

they probably will shut ur site down after it has some traffic and redirect it all to a 404 page..

Be very wary of FREE HOSTS

              haha

I got thrown off Web1000 years ago. My first site ever and I did a lot of picposting for a couple of days til they killed my site.

Wouldn't even answer a silly newbie's question about why his site was down for 4 days straight.

You're right...nothing is free...but we do not shut your site down and redirect it when it has a certain amount of traffic...

HAHA Couple of days after I got pissed and told them to close my account, I signed up again so I could put a placeholder site there and let people get to my new site.

The placeholder site is still there. That's kinda cool for some odd reason.

Its just hard for me sometimes...I work for a company, which means when I go out and promote one of our hundreds of sites like I'm told...automatically I assume some of the responsibility for whatever decisions are made by those above me concerning the revenue model or practices of any given site I'm told to promote.

I have two responsibilities when this happens...

the first is to myself...I'm an honest guy and I will not sacrifice my ethics or my name in order to promote any given thing. I've never screwed anyone and pride myself on this...If I was asked to do something to jeopardize either of those things I would outright refuse. This may get me terminated in such case I would come to a place like this and begin a self promotion campaign in hopes of finding another job. My personal foundation is not quite in place, and I do have alot of loyalty to this company. They are good people they've helped me in a wide variety of ways and Im compensated to my satisfaction for my hard work.

the second is to the company...when I first mentioned web1000 on this board I was asked alot of questions and I always answered them in total honesty while at the same time protecting the hard work and ideas that went into the creation of the given revenue model. Ideas are a valuable commodity and should be treated as such.

This all being said I saw a thread on another board concerning this subject...the webmasters had jumped to a wide variety of conclusions. I didn't touch the thread for a wide variety of reasons...

First I don't feel that the webmasters in the thread could be persuaded away from their assumptions...they were practically frothing at the mouth and I'm never one for a piss. I think my posts display that.

Also to fully explain our position I would have had to compromise our ideas and thus possible fail in my responsibilities concerning this company.

I have a child and a wife and I'm the only one in our household that works and we live quite comfortably on my income generated here at globalreach and that is also augmented by income I bring home by moonlighting for other companies doing design and marketing. I live in paradise and I like it here and currently for what I do GlobalReach is the best thing going...If I were on my own I might be on my own being my own boss...but I currently choose security over autonomy.

As I come to a close on this post it becomes blatantly apparent to me that I've strayed from the point, if there even was one...so I'll shut up...

Can't you just give me the money that you would have to pay to your upstream provider for the bandwidth that I am about to use up when I start hosting with you? I mean that would save both of us a lot of hassles?

DarkJedi is right - when you want to host your own domain there, they ask you "what kind of ads do you want to be displayed on your site ?" They offer Adult XXX and Adult Non-Xxx

                                    HOAX - what can u say ?

And give us the country list that you redirect
