Question about Free Content

Ok my ?? For free content for webmasters HOW many pics are enough from each set and what resolution do you like..

My guess was 20 pics of each set and a res of 750.. If you want to crop them down it's up to you.. Is that cool?

I don't like free content, in general. When I was doing gallery reviews I would see the same old content submitted by dozens of posters. It gets oversaturated quickly. I think the best way to handle content with webmasters is to let productive affiliates use content from the members area on an approval basis.

If you just have to give free content to your affiliates I would suggest using images with the models displaying your site name or logo.

one thing i hate bout free content is that its never optimize for free sites

i spend alot of time fixing them,,,
i like to keep the pics around 450 and 25k in size

owners should do this cuz it could save some bandwidth in downloading from webmasters

You know what play?? but then you get cpmplaints that its too small.. I think 750 res is good..they can go from there.. Or they can go buy the set..

We try to optimize our free content, so webmasters can use it 'on the fly'. If they need higher resolution they can always request it directly from us It looks like our webmasters like that arrangement, nobody has complained so far

500-600 on the long side... 60% compression will yield an image 20-30K depending on color saturations.

These images will be accepted on any TGP or Link List.

IF you also thumb them out shoot for 130-150 on the long side at 60% compression... this will yield a thumb that is about 4-6K.

Arles is a great program for popping out this stuff out.

I think lightspeed's got the best way for free content.. no one's got the same pics & you dont know what you're getting til you have it.. webmasters login to ftp & download the pics.. That may work out good for you..

You should have 20 pics because not EVERYONE does tgp, some folks do free sites for link lists and that usually requires 20 pics
