    Is this bad?

    Why is the load so high? Do you have a ton of MySQL shit running non-stop?

    I get worried when my server load goes over 1.0, and it's usually between 0.2 and 0.3

      Multiple instances of Apache might help.

        and it is only bad if it is keeping you from growing - if you are growing, not losing any traffic, and making money, then it is all good

        but it's just a high load, IMHO

          My MySQL does roughly 35 queries/second, i also use apache on the machine for video streaming

            I hit like 90 on the load meter

            Seems there was multiple instances of apache running?

            I am working on it , the massive traffic coming intot he box the last few days must be contributing also.

            I think I will need another box just to host thumbs

                43 is a little high but nothing TOO worrying, it shouldn't be that high all the time anyway.

                if you start having a load of 300+, then you should worry.
