To sum up just a couple things:

Contracts a designer to do work for him

recieves art refuses to pay several time

4 years lapse- Designer makes a post at DS asking about this situation

Hal responds says some pretty goofy stuff (which includes refusing to pay for work which he "used on a live site" for years )

which drags the thread out 11 pages

in the end , Hal gets away only with paying 1/4 of what was owed because the guy just wanted to get some thing outta this and which is all Hal would cough up under pressure.

the story ends with Hal banned from DomainState for being a heel.
