    Side Scrolling Galleries

Has anyone ever tried it? I was just curious. For me, the most highly valued real estate has been the final "bottom link". Well, most surfers see that link only the one time when they are finished browsing the pics and that's it. What is the gallery scrolled sideways and those catchy links were visible the entire time the surfer clicks. Has this been done before? Would you list them?

And btw, I do not mean designing it like so that it look like an oversized, untested gallery. I mean designed so the surfer understands that it is a sidescroller.

If a surfer is willing to scroll down, he most likely would be willing to scroll sideways, right?

I just thought providing a small twist on something as redundant as gallery making might prove to be more profitable. What do you think?

richards realm rejects galleries that scroll sideways.
most others would do probably the same
They are afraid that 1 of their loyal bookmakers may be so stupid that he won't be able to scroll it that way and he will stop visiting their site.
    I don't use ICQ anymore.

scrolling down is a natural habit..with scroll wheels on mouses you don't have to movie your pointer as well

if it ain't broke don't fix it..it you make money with your galleries keep it and multiply it..

Side scrolling is just fucking annoying. There's a sponsor (I forget who) that has a side scrolling site, and I wouldn't promote them because the site just feels broken.
