    aptgp help

    i followed the steps and im stuck on #8

    i get this msg everytime i enter int o the init_db.php

    Connect requires host.
    Connect requires user.
    Connect requires password.
    Connect requires database.

    i upload everything in their respective method

    help

    PS: Nationalnet is the best host I've ever had. And i tried alot of them.

      Create the database first if it doesn't exist. Make sure your MySQL values are set correctly ?

          same problem, can someone post steps how to setup the MySQL database for aptgp? never dealt with databases, so easy with the lingo pls... thanks!

              Are you on a dedicated server?
              Are you using Cpanel?

              If you use Cpanel, just create a db with a name such as " mytgp" , and add a user/pass comination.
              Your database will be maned for the script purpose " something_mytgp", your username " something_username " and password " passord".
              "Something" is your login name for the Cpanel.

              Otherwise without Cpanel, create the database with phpmyadmin ...
              I know that Asspimple is stoopid ... As he says, it is a FACT !

              But I can't figure out how he can breathe or type , at the same time ....

                  OR...if you are on a virtual hosting account....most hosts create a default MySQL DB for you ....using your FTP name/password as teh DB name/pass.
