The longer version does get a few more direct searches on Overture (i.e. with the .com), but the shorter version does have the advantage of being 1/2 the length...important if using the site for branding purposes, as shorter is nearly always better, all other things being equal.

So, who got a bid tax refund, and is looking to invest it?

Note to buyers of websites and traffic: please check our inventory at http://latonas.com/websites-for-sale. If you would like to make an offer on something, just let me know.
Overture of blingbling.com (with extension) is 506, vs. 337 for bling.com . Oddly, Men.com is only 557, with the .com, on Overture. I'd have thought it would be a lot higher, if it's getting 7500 uniques/day.
Bling.com "Buy it Now" set at USD $44,444.
Current Best Bid: USD $10,000
Buyer pays via Wire Transfer, or via Escrow.com (and pays fees).
Or, make an offer, and it shall be considered.....

HOLY MOLY, thanks George, I had no idea how popular these words were [gay wedding and civil union], I think its time to toss them into commerce and redirect.
gaywedding.com is nice, civilunion.com is even nicer. Very developable and brandable.
Sorry George, I am not jacking your thread, honest...I hate to get it off topic but at least it keeps bumping it.
I have owned these for some time, the wedding one dating back to '97 and the civil uniion one before the Vermont ruling.
Have no idea which direction to develop them, if they should be portals or what......being a news site would be lame, having a message board would be abused by the haters....how else would you develop these domains?
First thing you need to do is activate those domains! No need to rely on Overture to predict your own domain names' traffic -- setup the DNS and point them to a website, add a counter, and you can see their traffic.
Bling.com got 223 uniques on March 17, 230 uniques yesterday, and 45 uniques already today, for example (consistent with my estimates before I acquired it).

557 WITH the .com (i.e. input men.com into the Overture tool, not just "men"). It's odd, because it used to be 15,000 if I recall correctly --- Overture must be messed up on that domain.
My Jukebox.com is 1865 with the .com (58,000 without the .com), but doesn't get the 7500/day that men.com is supposed to be getting.
