He actually was the first predator in pre-production, but he didn't want his face to be covered by the mask. He wanted them to design it so he could be seen, as he was an up and cummer at that time. The eventually canned him and went with a full suit. On the first day of filming the stunt man had to wear the suit and run accross the log towards the end of the movi. Well he paniced and couldn't do it. Out of desperation Stan Winston put the suit on his runner, and the next day they hired the runner full time as the suit performer for the Predator. Anytime you see it run, jump, climb, fall or do master shots of it walking like on logs or rocks, it's Simpson.Originally posted by =^..^=

By the time part 2 came around they had 5 seperate stunt men in the single Predator suit and at the end of the 2nd one when all the Predators come out 2 of them are Brian's brothers.

I was talking about that movie with my pops tonight, lol
You know the guy who played the Predator was a 7'2" Black guy who played basketball for Washington State? He died at 34 from AIDS from a blood transfusion. I'd be SKEERED to stand next to him in that costume...

And get this. on the first film there was only one suit for Kevin Peter Hall, and the stuntman. When Brian found out Kevin had aids, (after the movie was already out), he was prett pissed off. So when the next film came out all stunt performers got their own suits.Originally posted by bryany
