depends on how much bandwidth you are using - and if you plan to be in business for a long time or just a few days

If you are not sure what to get, start off with a virtual domain. they are normally less expensive than dedicated servers and easier to get setup. If you find that your domain is slow during peak times or you just want more control, freedom and flexibility, then you can move up to a dedicated server. There is no reason to start off paying the dedicated server price if all you are using is a few gigs a day.

Once you move up to a dedicated box, that is your box. You can do whatever you want with it. (of course, within the AUP). You can install whatever webserver, OS, special programs, etc that you want, as well as having however many domains you want. Most places give you root access
If you need a good company for check writing services, then check out checkissuing, and for webhosting, check out Phoenix NAP

                      your website says
This account has been disabled by the DomainDiscover security department.

you better find a better host

IMO, it depends on what the individuals needs are. Do you need a host that will help you grow? Or, are you in need of large amounts of processing power and bandwidth? At 100K per day I'd say stay with a Virtual host til your making money.

depends on your need for growth and your CPU requirements... obviously, and your profit margin from current projects, the projected growth rate if given the proper scalability, etc...

Dedicated Hosting if you are serious. I can get you a Dual 1 GHz PIII, Dual 60 GB Hard Disks, and Bandwidth at $.50/Gig starting at $200.

Some notes on differences between the two:

                                  http://hosts4porn.com/articles/dedsolutions.cfm

It basically boils down to what was mentioned before. Virtual's good for smaller, newer sites.. but once you start moving up, you'll need to go dedicated. And with enough luck, who knows..? Maybe you'll need more than just your own box. :D
