a heck of a lot of work and money, the question alone shows you don't have what it'd take, nothing personal, just trying to help you out -
Still to competitive to compete with and Visa/MC are changing rules seems like every other month...
You are better off finding a different billing method...

Your going to have to be able to get a IPSP type merchant account. I tried last month. The merchant service I talked to wanted $15,000 (was $2,500 last year). I said no problem, but this was the same week that the last 2 merchant services in the US stopped taking adult merchant accounts. I think you can still get a IPSP type merchant account in the US, but I'm not sure if you can do it for adult sites. You'll also probably have to show that you can a very high volume of transactions.
If your talking about just processing for Europe, it's alot easier. It costs around $5,500 and I think you need to show that you can bring in at least $3 million a month (at least the people I talked to).
The hard part isn't the money. It's showing that you can bring in the volume needed each month. I have everything at PayWide setup to take credit cards. I just can't find get my hands on a merchant account. If someone can somehow get a merchant account, talk to me.

If you don't have approval from Visa to be an IPSP, why on earth would you ever think you could be one? At that level it's not about banks, its about Visa compliance and what they will allow. Nothing like getting a merchant account for your own sales.Comment
