    DMOZ question

Any strategies for either of these situations:

    1. The editors of a category are obviously not updating
    2. There is no editor for a category that you want to submit to.

    Thanks

It is damned frustrating, when you see the editor last updated the link six months ago, and this is becoming very common at dmoz, I guess these editors got all their sites listed and have lost interest. I tried getting on as an editor, choosing categories that would pose no conflict of interest, yet got refused for that very reason. My suggestion is to try and list it in another category that would apply, and it seems there is a lot of leeway there. I've tried this and it has worked. Good luck.
