need it as fast as possible, best parts etc.
please give me some reccomendations, price is not a problem

also i need a 17" monitor cos im sick of having to scroll across here!!!

If price isnt a problem get like a 22" monitor...and be sure to get a motherboard that supports ddr ram...I got a ecs k7s5a...its fast and cheap...but again if price ain't no thang you could probably find better...heck get one of those dual 1.9's er sumthin...

i dont like working with massive monitors, i prefer to work in the same size monitor as most of my surfers so i can build sites that look good for them although 15" is still more popular im sick of it

I couldn't live with a 15 or 17 inch monitor...I'd seriously have murderous thoughts...and if you're going to OC don't get the MotherBoard I mentioned...the bios is whack...

hell, if you wanna OC, you might wanna stay away from Athlons. new gen XPs have the bridges all screwed up - get a P4 1.6A instead, the results on default air cooling are quite impressive

get a sony viao, they are pretty tight... probably cost you the same as building one and saves you the hassle.. also u get the 1 year service.. they are pretty cheap if you get them direct from sony @ http://www.sonystyle.com ..chose the 'build your own' option, seems to be better pricing then their preset builds.


...and then get a monitor off ebay.. got my NEC 17 inch about a year ago off their refurbished... still looks like new and works great. I paid $100 + $30 shipping back then so they are probably dirt cheap now

The P4's have dismal performance ratings, overclocked or not. Get an athlon.
