I need a leased content script

I?m looking for a script that can automate the signup and authentication of customers purchasing a leased content service. Basically I would need a front end that would allow customers to register (and have email confirmation), and take them to a webmaster area that would be able to configure referring URL information that would modify the htaccess through the form. The service will need to authorize billing prior to allowing service to begin.

Any idea where I'd get such a thing? Or should I just sign up for a 3rd party biller and do the htaccess mods manually...

Garry was the first guy I talked to, he says it's quite an expensive undertaking.

Use whatever biller and have a perl coder whip something up for
you. Shouldn't be too much work or expense, it's just a simple
script to send an email and add a line of text to a file or 2.
Everything at Mansion is expensive so that doesn't surprise me.

Hmmm, I didn't understand everything, that script has to do, can you describe more details, please?

it's not that hard to do... but I don't understand why you'd want to have the billing included with the system... that might require more work and be way more expensive... PLUS, it takes the human side out of dealing with your customers IMHO... it's not like you'll have 1000s of transactions a day...

then again, I coded all my backend and customer side scripts myself... so I am biased on the system I used, I made it fit what I wanted ;)

Yeah I can probably help you. Would be a custom script ... I don't think you want auto-billing ... doesn't work with leased feeds Trust me.
