When you shut it down it now resets the difference totals. I hope they fix this in the next update as this is a major pain in the ass.
Stats Remote problem

didn't see this thread before...
The difference issue will be corrected in the update on Monday. Something went wrong when we added the difference tab and it took some time to figure it out.
What I don't understand is that we got LOTS of emails because of this. I always thought that people mainly use this feature to track new sales whenever StatsRemote updates the stats. This still works when the difference is reset when you restart StatsRemote.
Could you please explain why it's a major pain in the ass?

I just started using StatsRemote and I have no idea what the difference total is.
I'm still trying to figure out how you get it to go fetch the stats on demand. When I close the lid of my laptop for a while it seems to go to sleep and I can't seem to wake it up without shutting down the program and opening it again.Comment

The difference tab and column show you e.g. all new $$$ since the last stats update. You can change the settings in Tools -> Options.Originally posted by wyldblyss

There's no way to force the stats to be checked. When we developed StatsRemote we talked to a lot of program owners and we agreed that we wouldn't let our members check the stats more often than every 15 minutes. Otherwise some people would hammer the stats servers of certain programs. In some cases we even had to set the minimum time interval to four hours as some companies started to block the IP's of our members, i.e. CC Bill and Epoch.Originally posted by wyldblyss

I just do the following when I close my laptop... I right click on the StatsRemote icon in the system tray and check 'Pause'. When I start working again I right click on the StatsRemote icon in the system tray and uncheck 'Pause'. The software then starts to check the stats within one minute (if it wasn't checked within the last 15 minutes).Comment
