Streaming Video Errors with WMP9?

For any of you having the same problems as me: Any streaming MPEGs would crash Windows Media Player.

Here's the solution:
Find the files mcdsmpeg.ax and mcspmpeg.ax.
Rename these files to mcdsmpeg.ax.hide and mcspmpeg.ax.hide.
Reboot the PC and try playing back your media again.
