Why can these guys get away with waking me up at 9am...to ask me if i want long distance, and yet people bitch about a mail that they get whenever and can simply erase.

i used to work in one of those companies and people used to pass the same number round the office if the person who answered gave any abuse. well funny if its you doing it but not if its being done to you.

I had a call at a really early hour today. A woman said is that Mr John XXXX (she got my surname right, but my first name wrong). I just said "where are you calling from" she replied "London" I said "I didn't mean your location, I meant which company"

It was something like market research something, I just replied "i'm not intested" and put the phone down. If they can't even get my name right.

If everyone did this they would stop calling, it's like responding to spam.

Whatever they are selling, I always tell them. " Ho we are actually looking for that, can you wait a second please?" Of course he says yes, then I let him wait forever, sometimes I put a porn flix on the TV and I crank up the sound to the max.

I duscretelly check sometimes and I can hear that he's still waiting,...

My record : 14 minutes ...
