ICQ Problems

I'm having a strange problem with ICQ. I'm trying to get someone on my contact list. They sent me an auth request, and I never received it. A day later, I sent them one. They emailed me, said they got it and accepted it, and sent another back to me.

I haven't received that one either.

They can apparently get my messages and requests, but I can't seem to get their's.

Anyone ever had a problem like this?

Check that they didnt get on your ignore list somehow.

Icq is being messed up lately, people are sending me messages and I am not getting them. there is huge blank spots.... I will come on the next day and people will say "how come you stopped responding"

all icq is good for lately is for getting spammed non stop

Nah. No ignore list problems. We've never talked at all before.

Got it fixed though. Both of us had to upgrade to 2001b for some reason. :-\
