    Protected area / htaccess

    i have a domain1.com/members/
    and a domain2.com/members/

    both members areas are protected
each domain is hosted on a different host.

is there a way i could give ability to the members in
domain1.com/members/ to click on a link that links to
domain2.com/members/ even if they are NOT the members
    of the domain2.com/members/ ?

is there some sort of trick that can be implemented into the
.htaccess file to accomplish this goal?

so that domain2.com/members/ will not pop up a box requiring a valid username and password when the people are going to it from domain1.com/members/

I think you can do this using (HTTP_REFERER) tag. or something like this in your .htaccess file

with the new internet explorer updates I don't believe you can do it. maybe mess around with the .ssh/authorized_keys.

You could always share/sync the password files
