ok i was doing some cam stuff for company "a" when the started out, anyways i have come across the company that promotes them with animated pictures of myself aswell using my name "naughtyjenn" which i performed on there, i am no longer there and find it a bit odd that they still use my image and name as some of their primary advertising tools. Now what should i do?

Contact them and ask them to remove it?

check your release and see if you gave them rights to use your image or not . . . . if not, have AJ put some of that newfound legal knowledge to work writing a threatening letter

in the disclaimer they do state that they can collect images and video transmissions for their company use as well as for the use of creating promotional tools. i dont mind that at all but i do find it a bit odd that i have not performed on there since the beggining and yet i am their primary advertising face..

he is thinking about it, of course we would contact them first and if that is rejected he is a bit more concernd because the company using my images and name "naughtyjenn" is a rather large well known company

well, it is usually better to read and understand the implications of contracts before signing them, but better late than never.

They may have full rights to use your likeness and image. Now, if they are advertising that you are there providing something new, you could have something to go with.

Would need to see the agreement, and how they are using your name to comment further.

Who knows, maybe the big company does not know that you are no longer working for company "a."

About all you can do is ask them nicely, because in any agreement you signed up you gave away permission to use your images anyway they want most likely as all companies do. And I know who the company is.

they are well aware i have not been on their system for good period of time.. i have no problem using my image its more the name, further more i am not on that system and have had this pointed out by a few members recently about this. i will hit ya up about the rest

bit more than that advertising im on their system aswell as using my image/animations as one of their main advertising system with my name, i havent been on their system in a long period of time. after talking with a few in private i am going to be pursuing this and i will let you all know the outcome from this. If you were a surfer and viewed some of their advertising claiming things that were false you would be displeased as well..

200% correct as always images i cant do anything about its the name and using that as their primary advertising tool
