Problems!!

I spilled 32 Oz. of diet pepsi on my keyboard last night.
Fucked it up.

Wipped it up, dryed it. Still didnt work.

Then I put it in the Oven at 300 degrees to dry it and the fucking thing melted.

Same thing happened to me -- only I just went to BestBuy...

I remember when I was a kid though -- I was at an IBM "open house" -- and one of their demonstrations was spilling a full cup of coffee on an IBM keyboard -- no problem -- it still worked fine... this must have been almost 20 years ago though ;)

Big deal!! What's impressing to me in the photos is the desk area and how clean it is!! With my desk area you can't even find the keyboard..

I do not see why Best Buy would have any problems covering it under warranty. BUT before you go in and make an ass of yourself, you might try to bake your monitor as well. If the components match, it should all work again.

Post the monitor pics when you are done. Do not forget to spill the diet stuff on the monitor first, you want it to be as close of a match as possible.

Saw it today when I went shopping for the new keyboard for 849.00


Almost shit my pants.

My P4 1800 Mhz HP is about half the price now also.

Lesson I learned, never get the best, get second best its cheaper. And 2 months down the road the best will be half price when its second best.

Same story with my laptop, and my wifes car.

Bake or broil ?

With me being as clumsy as I am, and 3 kids sharing my computer, I learned a long time ago, that for the low cost of a new keyboard, it's easier to just replace it twice a year.

It was bake!! I figured Broil would be too warm!

I didnt even have it turned high!!
It takes 30 minutes to cook my corndogs on that temp!!

Only 10-12 min to melt the keyboard.

The house still smells like burnt plastic.
