I'm new to the forum and I've noticed people talking about sigs and money, how does that work. Do people actually pay to have something in your signature or what? And if so where do you find people who want to give you money?

On the 27th of every month, GFY will open a Sig Selling/Sig Buying forum. Post in there saying that you're selling your sig. If someone takes you up on the offer, they will send you some cash (usually through paypal).Comment

If you are an established poster, so can sell your sig for a nice amount of $$$$.
Most people who sell their sigs for high amounts, are big players in this biz.
But some of them are just board whores, who entertain the rest of lonely GFY'ers all day.
Important note: it is not sufficient to post a lot here and be perceived as a big player. It is also necessary that people know your face. Quiet may be an exception here, but hey..I don't hink he sold his sig.
