I need to write two essays as a prerequisite for University...

Limit it to 5 paragraphs..

1st paragraph, state your thesis,
next 3 paragraphs, prove your thesis with supporting fact.
then conclude with summary & closing argument.

This is the standard format.

Really, you need to seek the help of an education professional you have had an affiliation with in the past (i.e. a teacher or guidance counselor).

Achievement is the number one reason for human evolution. Failure being second. Failure when combined with the enduring human spirit drives us to achieve.

Then you could say something like...more to the point, GFY is the number one reason for human evolution. In my failure to think of an original thesis for my acceptance essay, I achieved in duping one of the over achieving webmasters at GFY do my thinking for me.


And then in the last part add...In closing I like to say that though I may not be what the average person would call an "Achiever" I do however have a resource that puts me in touch with many who are..and they would like to relay a message to you..."GO FUCK YOURSELF!"

I know its a little more eloquent than what your looking for...but heck you could probably really use the very first part...I think they'd be happy to accept a student who's no opposed to failing...

Wow I am actually impressed.

I am always shocked when someone studies language cause its soooooo hard. However, criticizing someone you don't know only on the premise that they are younger then you doesnt mean that they are not smarter or brighter then you.

So what that I run a warez site? It's not illegal cause it has no content (CJ). I make enough cash from it. Once I start a tgp site then maybe ill get some respect... until let the flamming continue...

Write the essay first and then go back and do the intro. After all the intro is really away of saying 'this is what the following essay is going to tell you'. How can you know that before you write it?

Plus, when I am on word 1101 of a 1500 essay it is a comforting thought that I still haven't done the intro or the conclusion. That I can pad them out to make up the wording.

On college application essays: Always somehow use the essay to say how important getting into that particular school is to you. Don't make it too pathetic but when I was applying to University back in the states ( I went to Northeastern in Boston before moving to the UK..almost *finally finished*) I did that and got accepted into all of the schools to which I applied. On the other hand, if you have the grades a slightly wonky essay isn't going to keep you out.


Essays..get use to them. I have been writing two a month for 5 years now. Have a 18,000 word project to look forward to next year.

Well, this coed down the hallway tried that website for her law school admission. She was pretty damned happy considering that the LSAT , or whatever test you need to take to get into US law schools, really freaked her out. She apparently dug the way the site worked.
