    What's a good basic thumbnailer?

    I just want the basics..
create thumbnails with no names under the thumbs and no html pages.. just the thumbs on an index page linked to the pics.
    Doesn't have to be free..

I had a good one at one time, but the drive blew its cork and I didn't back it up like an idiot.. Can't remember the name of it..

You'd do your thumbs in photoshop with an action, fast and easy.

But if you really need a cheap but good program, thumbnailer from http://www.smalleranimals.com does a pretty awesome work.

ACDSee is very good can be had for free.ACDSee
You get a 30/90 (?) day free trial and can then operate it in sponsored mode for free. A lot less than PhotoShop or Fireworks for what you want to do. Recommended by Adult Webmaster School.

If you want exactly what you said Sleezydream is right on the money. I have used it befor and it was very easy to use and the version I had did just images. No html galleries options and stuff like that.

It did do text overlays though.
It was cool but I lost it somehow and after trying thumbnailer It Does everything jbatch it did and lots more. (if you want it to) if not just dont use that part.

In my opinion the thumbnailer makes better quality/filesize pics. I'd say comparable to PhotoShop if not better.
                            ***********************

I had to read the first post again, Hey Sleazy he wants it to do html, does JBatch it do that? mine didn't???

I use thumbnailer alot and Thumbsplus, depending on the goal. Both should be in your stable of programs.

Please pay for them, that way they will keep making the programs better for us and that cuts our work load. If you get a warez version, we all suffer. Imagine if nobody took the time to write these programs, where would we be? Fucked, thats where!
