    best software to create illustrations

i just got myself a pen mouse, and i was wondering what software i should use to create illustrations/cartoons.

when i use photoshop, it looks a bit pixelated.

    any suggestions?
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

        Adobe Illustrator

        http://www.adobe.com/products/illustrator/main.html

        or

        Corel Draw

are the ones we've always used. Both excellent award winning programs. Corel is a bit easier and user friendly. Illustrator is like Photoshop, a bit of a learning curve.

Corel Painter 8 might be useful also,

            Yeah Adobe Illustrator rocks.
Maybe Macromedia Freehand depending on what you want to do.

            Cheers
