weird..just yesterday I was telling my UK friends about the show. We say Mighty Wind the other week and we were talking about Eugene Levy. Apparently he is going to be doing a play or something in London.Comment

SCTV is one great show. Candy and Levy were great on that show.
I remember seeing it on the dish a year or so ago, but cant recall what channel it was on.

He & Eugene Levy were my favorites on SCTV. I can only remember seeing him a couple of times after SCTV ended (not counting that godawful sitcom with Brett Butler)

I used to love it when they had the skit for "Celebrity Blowup" where they get 2 hicks (John Candy and the other dude) to interview a celebrity and then they blow them up REAL GOOD! LMAO!!

I used to love that show when I was a kid. When I moved to the UK I found out that it was a US version of a hit UK show called 'Not the nine'oclock news' that featured so many of the British comedians that we would now consider successful - Rowan Atkinson for example.
