i am getting more traffic from there than i think i really want.

I would like to get some input from you
what do you do with that kind of traffic?

Do you disallow googlebot to index pictures in general
Do you profit from the image search
...
there are so many options

some input is appreciated
I think i dont convert that traffic yet and its only leeching BW

I've noticed many celeb sites are using google images to their advantage. They 404 the page after it's indexed (or perhaps cloak it). The images and search terms end up in the index, but if the surfer clicks through they get a different content page... usually one encouraging them to pay for access to the pics.

how exactly is google indexing the pictures? is the bot for the google images just reading alt tags or what?
