Anyone watch that show on Discovery? If you can push past the Monopoly looking beatnik asshole host, then it's a great show!

For instance, I was always told that tin foil and utensils would seriously fuck up your microwave and it will blow up. That's bullshit. They put a tin foil ball into a microwave for 2 minutes and other than sparks, not a damn thing happened.

Check it out the next time its on.

fuck yes, i love these shows...i still dont think it's good to put that shit in your microwave...i dont think sparks are ok

They also said NOT to leave your toothbrush in the bathroom. They found shit on the toothbrush. It was more then 20 feet from the shiter and it still somehow had shit on it. Makes you think twice before brushing your teeth at a friends house.

yeah I love that show! They proved that talking on your cell phone at the gas station is not going to blow it up. What they did find is that getting back into your car after you start filling, then touching the gas pump before grounding yourself to the car is a very big hazard for starting a fire.

They did studies that women and people aged 16-25 were the ones that usually get back into their car.

i've caught it a few times. don't make it a habit to watch but i've seen some interesting topics. So far i've learned that you cannot kill yourself by boiling water in a tube that has red playing card torn up inside of it. not very useful but interesting

Shit is unescapable!!! A fart is the sharpest thing known to man! It can cut through the finest of fibers and not leave a hole!

The next time you get a whiff of someone's fart just think to yourself that you're breathing in little shit particles....it makes like a little more interesting.


The one they did about water blowing up after it was microwaved was pretty interesting. Distilled water will not boil because it has no impurities in it so it reaches superheated levels. Interesting shit!!!
