It's a lan party, gamers go and play latency free games :D

That asshole must have had:

1) Wallhack (see through walls)
2) Aimbot (snaps to enemy and shoots for you)
3) Lambert (lightens up dark area's and player models in order to make it easier to see)

I hate cheaters.

If he was cheating, then yes, they should've thrown him out, barred him from all future events and then made sure everyone knew about it.

But destroy his PC? His property? I'm not too sure about that.

Railz, why not? it's not alot different from the government seizing property that was either used for illegal purposes or obtained because of illegal activity.

Cheating is never ok in my book, so if one or two guys see that and decide not to cheat anymore then even better. No one would stop cheating if there were no real consequences. That clip just goes to show how angry someone who's been cheated can get. Justifiably so in my opinion.

Cheaters in online games are the must annoying, frusterating thing to come along since woman ;)

BUT, if that video was real, then I would have gone back with a machine gun... They can't just destroy property like that man.

I mean, honestly, I would fucking go back with a gun and hunt the muther fucker down that threw my comp.

It is NOTHING like that at all.

Show me the law that says cheating at a video game consitutes an offense and allows the equipment to be destroyed?

I agree - people will see this and not want to cheat at those LANS. They probably won't want to go in the first place at all. I hope they got the right guy... what if it was the guy next to him? We got reid of cheaters at our lans by not allowing them in the first place - Q2 had a massive following in the UK, and the cheaters were well known. Barrysworld pioneered the anti-cheat mods and cleaned it up somewhat, but for the big comps, all machines were checked by hand for proxies and autoaimers, or the comp supplied their own machines.

What makes me laugh is the end of the clip - all the gamers picking over what's left of his PC to see what they can salvage (what it looks like).
