Wow, I depend on it and can't imagine my income without it.

I made out pretty good on the new update, I lost a point on several of my tgp's but I gained 2-3 points on several of my previously pr0 sites, all in all my traffic and sales are up since this last update

google have brought back some of my .biz spam it knocked on the head with florida.
I love google but i dont give a shit whether they drop me or not.
There is enough traffic with the other search engines to earn a comfortable living.
Jay knows his shit... he's consistently hovering over my results. I'm always seeing his site #1 where I'm between 2 and 5. So I make sure I'm sending my pages to different sponsors
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
funny how some people swear by google, and some people wipe their ass with it. I notice a good number of hits from it - but it seems to be in waves. One day I will have a bunch - then just a few, then a bunch. Its like a fucking rollercoaster

Thanks man .
For those of you who are frustrated - you have to roll with the punches when it comes to google traffic. You have to be in it for the long term, and count the the folks at google will throw a wrench into you plans once or twice a year.
SE Kung Fu requires years or practice and dedication.

I disagree.i spammed myself to the top in less than 2 months and have sites still at the top after 8 months.
When 1 site goes another takes its place.Google likes Jayslinks at the moment because authority sires are in and you have many inbound and outbound links coming from many servers. You have optimised the page without overdoing it and all credit to you.
But a good network can duplicate that in 3 months not 3 years.
The real heros IMO are the ones who donot rely on searchengine traffic.Sites like the hun that are built on word of mouth.
I rebooted, deleted temp files, history, cookies and everything...still cannot view the news clip. All I see is that fucking gay ass music video from "Rick Roll". Anyone else have a different link to the news clip?
Well, I'm not quite sure this shit is over.
Go to any non-English Google regional and you will see totally different search results.
Are they testing various filterings? Why haven't the Google regionals been updated to match US Google?
Were they so unsure about Austin they decided to have a backup incase the results were too shitty (as they indeed are...)?
The regional Google results have new sites processed, so it's not some old junk they've thrown up.

You're contradicting yourself. Getting a top placement in Google takes time and effort, hence the top listings by xxxjay because he has an "expert" site.
One of the real heros are people like him that actually took the legit way out and it paid off.

I can't see where I am contradicting myself.
I can get google to believe that a site is an "expert" site within 2 months.
There is not a" legit way"and a 'not a legit way".
Its all in the eyes of the beholder and as far a google is concerned they are as fickle as the wind so what might be legit today is spam tomorrow.
i am not belittling Jay's hardwork and achievement,I am just disagreeing with him about the time span needed to get great traffic from google.
Contrary to what most believe,SEO is not rocket science
swami - Yes, it is easy to spam the search engines with shitty jump pages. I've done it before. I know all about cloaking, dynamic spider delivery, and about a zillion other shady ways to get top listings, but I don't agree with you on your defininition of "hero". Yes - it is possible to dominate the SERPs for serveral months at a time through spamming techniques, but once you have gotten your spam hit from surfer - that's it...you're done.
Spam SE pages may take some of my good rankings from time to time, but every so many months the spam is purged and I will take my listings back.
Most importantly: When a surfer finds Jays XXX Links on google - they will think - "Hey this is a pretty cools site....", bookmark it, and come back. They will *NEVER* do that with one of your spam warning pages.
For whoever commented on the "word of mouth thing" - well that seems to be working out for me too:
My #1 refferer of traffic is direct requests / bookmarks.
Yes - I get around 70K a day average (this is only one of the 100+ sites that I operate), I do make a killing, and I just paid cash for a 37K Ford Expedition today...not only am I hero on two counts - I'm a mutha fucking gangsta!
Ok -- enough with the ego shit - I was want to conclude by saying that "I disagree".

Swami it's one thing to work hard and get good listings for pages that have legitimate value to the surfer.... it's a complete other to get high listings for total crap that the surfer is not interested in.
Do what you will, but your views are not shared by the masses.

swami,
Jay worked hard for a long time to get this positions. He has nice professional site and I think he will keep this positions in the future too. I think lots of surfers bookmark his site.
When we say about the se spam pages - it's temporary luck. Surfers don't like this pages and never bookmark such site.

I think you guys have got me mixed up with someone else.
My sites don't cloak nor redirect nor have doorway pages.
What I am saying is that Its possible to get jays position in Google serps in 3 months and not 3 years as some say.Anyway Lets agree to disagree.
Cheers.
