SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR.
Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

Seems like I've seen that address before....
maybe in a Choker thread about Goldman ??
Not sure if you're joking or serious, but in case you don't know, Domains by Proxy is a service provided by a company that keeps the identity of domain owners private unless subpoenaed. It's something like $15/year/name. Lots of scammers, and some legit people, use the service for privacy reasons. So different people have identical registrant information, but aren't the same people, they're just using this same service.
If it was just a parody then google may accept it... but it's a parody that makes money. If you want your site on there you need to have an affiliate program, or a link back to them.
Have they really TM'd "booble"?
I do like this bit though...
Tip: The best way to avoid pop-ups and annoying marketing is to buy a subscription to a quality porn site.

Thats what I thought it was when I first saw the name.
But then I saw several threads pointing that company at Goldman....
Saw yes, I was serious... But, if what you say is right (and I have no reason to doubt it) then I stand corrected..

arg is 100% correct, I have one domain registered with godaddy that I wanted to keep private, strictly because there is personal information on it, and I chose their "keep private"option. That is the same name and address my site is registered under.
EDIT- but I gurantee when google comes knocking with a subpena they hand that guys name right over without any protest.
Thanks for all the kudos... Booble IS a parody, and therefore is protected by the first amendment. And, yes, it makes money. That's part of the joke. We have lawyers, too.
The site IS slow and has been since making the papers around the world. People LOVE this idea. We've been slammed with more traffic than we ever imagined was possible and working around the clock to get our service to where it should be.
So... please do visit us again in the next few days while we get our proverbial act together. Click webmasters on the home page. We'll list any sites with affiliate programs; if you don't have an affiliate program, we'll list you for a link back. Or you can just email me at [email protected]
PS Domains by proxy is offered to those using Godaddy domain registration services. Very low cost. Very nice way of keeping your business private. Don't know where else you can sign up for their services, which so far have been very useful.

Um, I still say that you folks will be visited by Google lawyers soon as you are ripping off the Google site design not as a parody but as a way to make money...
the more money google lets them make... the stronger googles case will be. They are not going to try to take them down until they can prove the site has been making money of thier design and reputaion. Then its probably just going to move offshore.
Fucking best idea I've seen in a long time. Loads of mainstream media attention, making bank off all the "virgin" surfers. The most google will probably do is C&D. At that point, pack up and leave a fuck of alot richer.

I don't really agree. I'm sure google will sue but I imagine their parody stance would hold up. Weird Al played off MJ's and many others beats, looks, lyrics, etc and HE MADE MONEY in the process. Nobody can stop him because it is in fact a PARODY.
"I try to make a habit of bouncing my eyes up to the face of a beautiful woman, and often repeat “not mine” in my head or even verbally. She’s not mine. God has her set aside. She’s not mine. She’s His little girl, and she needs me to fight for her by keeping my eyes where they should be."

Possibly, But there is a difference. The music was always redone and the lyrics were all different. Web design and layout intellectual property rights still exist. If weird all used the exact same lyrics or the orginal music tracks he would be in trouble. Weird al is also not involved with porn, a stigma that will (however unfairly) sway any court proceeding in googles favor.
I'm not a lawer so I don't know... personally I wouldnt design such a "parody" unless I wanted to spend a lot of time having to deal with legal bullshit in the near future.
Amateur legal eagles will be interested to read the correspondence between Google's lawyers and ours, which was posted today (Weds. 1/28) on the booble.com website under the "legal notices" hyperlink.
they shouldn't make you link back to them
How is it really different from a link exchange then?
