***virus Warning***

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU OPEN THERE IS A VIRUS GOING AROUND THE ADULT INTERNET.

Just got two emails, one from Cool-Content the other from Fight The Patent. All that was in the email was this;

Most of us should be wise enough not to open it, but from two trusted sources it might fool someone.

yep got 4 already tonight.

Do you have to click the attachment or just open it? I got one from Rick that I opened but didn't click the exe but didn't see the .exe once opened as an attachment. Weird.

I got mine from dman @ plr this morning and an email from paul saying he got from from me.. given the time frame, i'd say paul got his from dman.

2 options.

Someone you guys know is infected and the mail simply sends itself to the people in his address book, grabbing a random file from the harddrive and infects that file

Other option. Surfer visits your site and another site. Surfer is infected and he doesnt know it. The virus checks the internet cache and finds the email from site a and spoofs it to send an email to site b also found in the cache.

Im always amazed how people dont understand this or dont know where these emails come from. Its really webmaster lesson 3 in the newbie guide.

Yup but i guarantee you that out of 100 mails sent at least 30 people open it...its sad and stupid. Those 30 people are now infected and will also send out emails. It will never stop untill people stop opening attachments!

Nah, all that one did was send my financial information to the virus writer -- now he owes my student loans, car payment, and mortgage -- the joke's on him!!!
