i'm having a damn html textfield problem

why the hell is it that SOME (Not all) of the textboxes i create in html, turn up with yellow backgrounds in IE? the code is exactly the same for all of them, yet only a few of them turn up yellow.

there is a CSS include and I am using a class tag on the textfields to point to css, but no where in my css script does it have anything yellow.
