Need help getting passport

I'm thinking about going to the Cancun gathering, but I've never had a passport so I'm pretty clueless how to go about this, can anyone pitch in their I'd appreciate it.

Is there enough time to get this done? Where do I go?

Got the info already, there is a post office nearby, apparently there is a six week wait or 2 week expedited service for some extra $. Thanks again

Cool, I hope thats not too late for you. When were you planning on traveling to Cancun ? I was there a few years ago.

If you attended the first Webmaster Access Show in LA in Novemeber, you already know what a great networking event it was. If you didn't, you missed the perfect opportunity to meet with 100's of other major webmasters and get up to date, make deals, and party a bit.

i would go get it now. dont get the expedite service though. its pretty much a waste of $. i got mine in less than 2 weeks through the post office from the regular service. plus the place i got it from is in chicago, so it should go even quicker for you. i think there must be some kind of main passport agency in chicago.

I got mine in two months but you can pay more for a rush order like 2-3 weeks. Go to the post office.

My sister paid for rush service and she got hers almost immediately. (Maybe you have to be a cute girl?)

theres also these shady ass places you can go to and they charge like $400 but get it to you within 2-3 days. i think what they do is make up fake flight info and fax it to the place that makes the passports.
