And whole countries e.g. Brazil, Israel and many Asian countries also going open source.. it looks like Microsoft's days are numbered?!

I've been running unix as a desktop for 6 years now...

Still, have to wonder if Linux + X is ready for the mainstream market.

the problem is that 99% of all companies use software and network using windows platform.

Might be shooting themselves in foot unless there is a major drop in prices with site licenses

I'm not surprised, I dropped windows years ago myself, but the majority uses it so we gotta keep up!
