Its a bug, nothing to do with your cache.

Yesterday i saw a thread with 36 replies suddenly showing 0 replies.

Yeah and the post times are screwed up. They won't refresh sometimes until I close and reopen my browser.

I've seen that happen a couple of times. Very rare ... but they do happen.
