    Question for CCBill

What sort of compensation will you be giving to your affiliates that have lost business as a result of your serious mistake.

Assuming that these companies that showed a 0 rebills are innocent, these false reports have seriously hurt their reputations and business. Reputations take years to build, and it can take more years to repair the damage that has been done.

So again, let me ask, how will you compensate them for your mistake? (i.e. - is your "apology" thread all you plan to do?)
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

Why are you asking CCBill on GFY? If you want to ask them a question, email or phone them.

Because I'm not a client, it's convenient, and I'm interested in hearing how they portray themselves to the public in this type of situation.

      Is that enough?

You don't have to be a client to email or phone them. If I have a question for somebody, I ask them. I don't post on a public board and hope they respond.

Nothing can fix the damages that have been done even if they are innocent.

If I plan to ever do business with CCbill in the future, I want to know how they handle a public crisis.

If they ignore it, it says something about them.

So I ask them a valid question in public, to see how they will respond.

If they only want to answer it in private, then maybe they have something to hide. And like I said, this is convenient.

Have I justified myself to you now?
              jeez.

                Also, one more thing.

Sometimes it's better to ask a question in public, than in private.

You can see how they handle a public crisis with the other threads. I would think it's more convenient to pick up a phone or email them rather than ask something that isn't even going to be responded to.

Answering something in private doesn't mean they have something to hide. They'll give you the same answer in private that they would in public.

It sounds like your taking this personal Kush2. It's just a GFY board, not your life. I just don't understand why people ask a question to a company on a public board. It's doesn't make sense. If you want to make a comment, I can see it.

It just sounds like your trying to cause more trouble with CCBill by asking this in public. You already know they aren't going to answer you on a public forum.

I have some time to kill and I'm bored. Don't worry, it's not personal. I enjoy an argument now and again.

I don't know you and therefore I try not to judge you, but like I said, I'm just in the mood right now to ask these questions and participate in these theads.

As to your question about if I'm out to cause trouble for CCbill - no I'm not. But I do think they are in a bit of a pickle, and perhaps if they formulate an excellent response and turn all of this negative press around, I can learn from their actions.

                        Any other comments? ;)

i am pissed at ccbill for refusing to email my affiliate's an apology for telling them that i was cutting their rebills off after 2!!!

I would never do that and I got like, so much hatemail, it sucked.

                            CCBILL can be real pricks

                                Like totally?

Icedemon, there are many more people involved here than just the program owners. Think of the thousands of webmasters who, in just 24 hours or so, have completely lost their trust in their sponsors *and* now they've completely lost trust in CCBill as well because it seems that they're covering up for someone.

This needs to be answered in public. To do so otherwise would leave too many questions hanging, doing even further harm to both the sponsors and CCBill.
Also I don't see why they wouldn't answer it in public, Corvett has no problem coming into threads like this and trying to give a valid explanation.
