    Networking 3 computers

Ok got 2 easily networked, how do i do the third, another network card in the main comp?? or what?

can not network via USB because the third comp needs internet and the cable modem will not work if networked via USB (dont ask...!)

get a hub, if not you would need another network card you can put it on either computers that is already networked, it should work.

      Very Easy Solution

Anybody with a constant connection should have one ... even if only one machine hooked up to it.

Best $40 piece of mind you can buy .... don't trust your livelihood to Zone Alarm or some other cheap assed software solution.

Internal IP addresses are the only REAL firewalls.

Linksys is TRASH. If you want something quality go with a Dlink.

Why not get a router, plug your ADSL into the wan port and the computers into the network sockets on the router.
The router can be set to DHCP and it will issue your machines there internal IP address.
You'll need network cards in all the machines yea.
If you get a 10/100/1000 you can transfer between the machines REAL fast ;)
