ok so Im looking up buy photoshop CS and came across this site as a featured site on google.

Im like mmmm seems a little fishy as you dont get the cd and box and he says

Also you will not receive manuals, boxes, etc.

so I do some looking, He says he has been in business for 3 years yet the domain is only a couple months old and his paypal account is unverifed.

I wonder how many people he has stolen from.

BitTorrent gets faster the more you download... basically it's designed so you can't leach, you have to share to get good uploads, so the more you've downloaded, the more you can share, and the faster the download goes. I've got almost 500K a second off good torrents before.

Get it from here, there's a windows installer: http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/

On linux anyway you have to install it, then configure your browser to use the bittorrent client to open files with a .torrent extention (dunno how you'd do that on windows but it won't be difficult). Then you browse sites like http://www.suprnova.org/ looking for .torrent files, click on them and download. There's no actual client that you use to search for files like Kazaa, it's all done through your browser.

But.. but.. but.. that's DIFFERENT... somehow.

And scams like this arent anything new.. I've seen a few sites trying to charge to download Kazaa for a looong time now. Must work too.. as they are still around.

I don't see piracy as a bad thing at all. It just matters who's doing it.

Had I not gotten warez copies of VB, VC++, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and a bunch of other things in high school I never would have learned to use them. Once I learned, I was able to use them to make money, thus being able to afford the next version that comes out.

So instead of "losing money", warez made me a potential customer. Had I never gotten them I never would have had the money or a reason to buy the legit copies. In the long run they've gained a customer and sold hundreds, maybe thousands worth of software to me that I would never have purchased.

It's all relative. There's no good or evil, just different shades of grey.
