I really love Civilization 2, does anyone know if there is a Civilization 3 ?

Civ 1 rocked.
Civ 2 was better, but the graphics were bad - it should have been overhead, not such a flat isometric view.

I hear they're working on Civ-3 right now, looks like there will be a lot more movie-type graphics and more emphasis on diplomacy. Civ-1 was one of my favorite games ever, but Civ-2 let me down... hopefully they'll do a good job with this one.

yeah,Civ 3 will be out soon, it will be in 3D. Looks great, lets hope the gameplay is good too. Cause alpha-centauri sucked ass IMO

Sid Meier is out of ideas, I personally love the genre but after civ1 nothing new has come out to radically change it around, I find the upgrades too limited in all these games but alpha centuri was not so bad

I recently bought Civilization Call to Power II ... it's all the same game, except now it's much more involved and you go to year 2300 instead of just 2000. I've yet to get all the tech advances in time, but I've only completed it once. One more thing, the new AI races, which there are about 50 now, are much better. The other day I played the game in medium difficulty and they were flying around in stealth bombers when all I still had my knights prowling around, lol.

I loved civilization where was kid, but know I play in other games.

Civ was great game until I found the file where you can change all the possible features of the game so it started to be pretty boring

It's been shelved to work on Civ3, but they might get to work on it later...
