I have two drives C-E. I want to be able to boot into either drive at will. Can this be as simple as installing an operating system on the second drive and using a floppy to boot into it? If not does anyone have a link for a tutorial on how to accomplish this?

What 2 OS's do you want to run?
With Windows and Linux use the built in LILO.
With 2 versions of Windows it can be done in the boot.ini or with a third party sofware like bootmagic. When you're running down my country hoss...you're walking on the fighting side of me!

you don't need any bootloader if you are installing to win os just set up the two partitions as primary partitions when you format them and install both os' on each partition and when you boot you would be given a choice i am currently running win xp and win 2003 on my laptop on same disk but two partition and it works fineCustom large/complex systems programing.<br>ASP.Net, C#, XML, MS SQL, WebServices(SOAP).<br>ICQ: 235719545Comment

Windows 2000 Pro.
Same thing as this:
It will just be 2 disks instead of 2 partions. The second intall will modify the boot.ini file for you.Originally posted by dotwind
