    billing issue

Shot a video for a customer and he wants me to reshoot it because the model has tattoos and he needs a cleaner looking model. Do I take the hit on what I paid the model or do I bill him for the costs I incurred?

FYI: Customer says "pretty much any model will do", which is why he didn't care to see a pic prior to shooting.

If he didnt give details it is kinda his problem. Yet if the customer is a regular ect, it may be in your best finacial interest to eat the cost and resell the video to recover some of it. Or of course you could ask to split some of it.

Hmm, I'm glad you meantioned re-selling it. I had someone else recently request this same type of video. Strange though considering how specialized it is, and it's not even porn.

Did he prepay? Always ask for money up front... that way you can't get ASS JACKED

In this case, in the spirit of customer service, take the hit.

Would you not find this disturbing if a content provider asked you for the money prior to shooting the content? I'll do it, but I don't want to piss off the people I'm working with...
