Pimp reminds me of the "effects triangle". In FX we tell producers (under our breath) that they can have their fx good, fast or cheap. You can have two but not the third.
I think it can be applied to most everyday products.
You can have it Good and fast but it won't be cheap.
Fast and cheap, but it won't be good.
Or good and cheap but it won't be fast.
My boss usually goes for good and fast, and then charges them an arm and a leg.
My kind of business man.

As for the good and free arguement, winamp is free. Realplayer is free. Napster is free. Windows Media Player is free. Linux is free. php3 is free. The mp3 format is free. zip and unzip are free. I'm not looking for their paid alternatives and I'm sure so arent any of you - and these are one of the most used tools in my computer routine.Comment
