    Adverage CABLE/DSL Modem Speeds

    I just ran a speed test on my cable modem and this is my results.

    Speed
    5.4 megabits per second

    Communications 5.4 megabits per second
    Storage 663.4 kilobytes per second
    1MB file download 1.5 seconds
    Subjective rating Awesome

                                              My friend has a 1mbit connection and I can DEFINATLY tell the difference in speed on page loads and such. I download files like videos and such at around 300 to 360 k so I'm assuming that's as fast as the server can get it to me.
