How many times should you be able to recharge a battery for a cam corder? I bought a Panasonic not that long ago and have only recharged it three times and now it seems that it will not hold a charge. Faulty battery???

I suppose there must be different brands of batteries that can be used on the Panasonic??? If so...does anyone have suggestions?Originally posted by bopha
Same problem with our panasonic. Took it out last night to record and the battery was dead. It was charged up all day.

Read your warranty... some won't be any good with a different brand of battery. Just make sure you get one that doesn't have any charge memory in the brand it came with. They usually cost a chunk more for the things we have done like that. And they don't seem to last either.
Could be the charger overcharged it too and fried it.Last edited by Gemini; 12-18-2003, 02:46 PM.<center><a target="_blank" href="http://dev.datedollars.com/index.php?s=signup&aid=535&cfg=aac"><img border="0" src="http://216.130.172.224/gfy/gsig.gif" width="490" height="100"></a><br><a href="http://dev.datedollars.com/index.php?s=signup&aid=535&cfg=aac" target="_blank"><b><font face="Arial"><font color="#FF99FF"> Buy me away from Slavedriver Smokey!<br>It's May Sig Sweeps!<font></b></center>Comment
