    ftp problem

    Anyone know what would make a server do this and how to fix it?

    Heres the WS FTP log:

    257 "/var/www" is current directory.
    SYST
    215 UNIX Type: L8
    Host type (S): UNIX (standard)
    PORT 24,127,174,184,19,11
    200 PORT command successful
    LIST
    ! Receive error: Blocking call cancelled

    ! Retrieve of directory listing failed (0)

        no, the question was for YOU.... did your router fuckup? I got that response everytime before I fixed my router with a firmware update..... check it out.

            then probly a snafu on their side.... maybe needs a reboot or something. Put in a trouble ticket.

              well then its prolly ur host.. either email em, or give it awhile n see if the problem keeps up.. when did u first get that error?

                Weird, I went to advanced settings in WSFTP and clicked "Passive Transfers" and now everything works fine....

                    same thing happened to me too.... checked the box for Passive and all was good...

                        Funny. I was just gonna ask you if you use Ws_FTP. It's a wierd program and does it sometimes for the passive transfers and also if you disconnect or connect improperly.
