    Serious question here

In this thread, pornanza asked, "don't sponsors payout all accounts under the minimum payout level at the end of the year?"

While we know that this is not the standard, it got me to thinking. Why don't we try that? So I am here to ask you, if you knew that no matter what, at the end of the year you knew that you were going to get paid, even if you had not met the minimum payout amount, would this be an incentive for you to sign up and promote that program?

well, what if you joined the program at the end of the year?

Besides, I am probably addressing those that are not as big a playa as you obviously are.

Honestly couldnt hurt. I have joined a few programs that I sent traffic to and the numbers did not justify staying with them, ussually just an incompatibility with my traffic and that site. I would get a sale or two, but often did not reach the minimum before I switched.
Also often if the program has a refferal program and you push webmaster traffic such as I do. Minimum payouts can be a bitch at times depending on how well your reffered webmasters promote.

It would be a nice touch... And yep, referral minumums can be hard to reach

But what if it was residual sitting in a program you don't promote anymore?

I am going to have to look into this a little closer, and yeah, we do have people that don't promote sites, but do have referral monies coming to them . . . this could be interesting

                      stay tuned

i have one sponsor who I haven't promoted for nearly two years who every pay period sent me an email I have not taken as a tease that tells me I have $30 in sales with them in two different accounts (needed a seperate per signup and per click account) but that the minimum to get paid is $50. That ticks me off.

I also don't understand the complaints about never seeing the money if webmasters don't make the minimum and decide to stop sending traffic...........for all sponsors I know, it's as easy as requesting that your account be closed and request the balance no matter how small it may be.
