Isn't it ironic? They have no clue how to do it themselves but have no problem estimating the amount of time that will be involved and then offer the generous amount of $ 25.00, which will in the end probably come out to $ 6.00 an hour.
Hell, it generally takes at least 2 minutes just to find out what they want! Even the absolute simplest modification to existing code that I know intimently takes 10 minutes by the time open the editor make/test the changes and send it to the customer and when it DOES go that fast I worry that I screwed something up!
